Alsons Energy Development Corporation

Alsons Power’s business development vehicle for new power generation and other power related projects is Alsons Energy Development Corporation (AEDC).

 
  Alto Power Management Corporation

Alsons is engaged in power plant management and maintenance operations under Alto Power Management Corporation (APMC) a partnership between Alsons Consolidated Resources, Inc.(ACR) through Conal Holdings Corporation (CHC) and Toyota Tshusho Corporation of Japan.

APMC currently operates the diesel fired plants of the Western Mindanao Power Corporation (WMPC)  and  the Southern Philippines Power Corporation  (SPPC).

APMC has also provided management or consultancy services to power plants in Vietnam, Pakistan, and Indonesia.

 
    Mapalad Power Corporation

The Mapalad Power Corporation operates a 103 Mega Watt diesel power plant in Iligan City. The MPC plant provides power to Iligan City and other key cities of Mindanao including: General Santos, Zamboanga, Pagadian, Butuan and Bayugan.

 
San Ramon Power,  Inc.

The San Ramon Power, Inc. (SRPI) coal-fired power plant will be located in San Ramon, Talisayan,  Zamboanga City. The SRPI facility will be able to generate up to 105 MW of electricity for Zamboanga City and nearby areas.

 
Sarangani Energy Corporation

The Sarangani Energy Corporation (SEC) coal-fired power plant in Maasim, Sarangani will have the capacity to produce up to 210 MW of electricity for Southern and South Central Mindanao.

The first 105 MW section of the SEC plant began commercial operations in April, 2016 and currently supplies General Santos City, Sarangani, and other key areas of Mindanao.

The second 105 MW section of the SEC plant is expected to commence operation in 2018.

 
Southern Philippines Power Corporation

The Southern Philippines Power Corporation (SPPC) 55 MW diesel-fired power plant in Alabel, Sarangani Province began operating in 1998.

SPPC supplied power to the Mindanao grid under an 18-year Energy Conversion Agreement (ECA) with the National Power Corporation (NPC).

In April of 2016, SPPC began operating as a merchant plant, directly supplying power to Davao City and Cotabato City.

 
Western Mindanao Power Corporation

The Western Mindanao Power Corporation (WMPC) operates a 100 MW diesel-fired plant in Sangali, Zamboanga City that commenced operating in 1997.

WMPC supplied power to the Mindanao grid from 1997 to December 2015 under an 18-year Energy Conversion Agreement (ECA) with the National Power Corporation (NPC).

On December 13, 2015, WMPC began supplying 50 MW of power directly to the City of Zamboanga under a power sales agreement with the Zamboanga City Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ZAMCELCO).

WMPC will continue to be one of the primary suppliers of power to Zamboanga City until the 105 MW San Ramon Power, Inc. baseload powerplant begins operating in 2019.

Aside from Zamboanga City, WMPC also provides power to the cities of Cagayan De Oro, Cotabato and Davao.
